Graduate student at the University of Oxford
Thanks for visiting! I am currently a graduate student at the University of Oxford working on a research Master's in Economic History at Nuffield College. This site is a repository of my formal and informal work in a variety of fields.

I am studying for the MPhil in Economic & Social History at the University of Oxford under Prof. Avner Offer. My dissertation will be on the intellectual challenge of unemployment in 1920s Britain, a work I expect to finish in April 2018. On this site, I maintain a small collection of interesting tidbits related to economics and history on my economic history blog.
TECHNOLOGY & DATA SCIENCE
I am currently pursuing a number of data science projects using natural language processing and text analysis. Keep an eye on my github for updates, and I hope to post full write-ups on this site in the future.
My research at the University of Georgia focused on policy-relevant questions about the regulation and use of prescription drugs. We offer the first comprehensive estimate of off-label prescription use for the years 2007-2011 and identify important demographic trends in off-label prescribing. Learn more about this project and others on my research page.
My guide to solo-trekking Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar is available here. I also maintain a blog of travel and personal updates for family and friends; if interested, please get in touch.
